Annotation:

The article deals with certain financial aspects of provision of the development of mountain territorial systems. It is necessary to involve significant financial resources, intensification, and support by authorities, local government and to form an appropriate legal framework for the implementation of the programs for regions growth of mountainous areas. It is important to combine interests of power structures, at all levels, for promoting the development of mountainous areas that will enable preservation, restoration, and their prospective development. Conduction of monitoring studies is an important component of the formation of a state financial mountain policy, which will be based on studying the features and taking into account problematic issues, including financial ones. The results of evaluation of the noted socio-economic level of the development of mountain territorial systems should be a base for allocation of funds to secure a sustainable development of mountainous areas to increase welfare of mountain inhabitants. The article focuses on the legislative provision of financial support of mountain territorial systems, primarily target use of financial resources, which will facilitate an adequate and reasonable use of them to achieve defined goals and performance of the prospects of territorial development of mountainous areas. In order to intensify financial support from various funding sources, it is necessary to involve mountainous areas for providing them with financial support aimed at the development of depressed areas within the border and cross-border cooperation with the EU.
