SYSTEMATIZATION OF TYPES OF NON-TRADITIONAL BANKING SERVICES AND DEFINING THEIR ROLE IN THE FUNCTIONING OF BANKING INSTITUTIONS

Annotation:

In the article examines different approaches to the classification of banking services, and it is determined that the most common approach to the classification of banking services is their division into traditional and non-traditional ones. The reasons for the emergence and further development of non-traditional banking services are highlighted. In the process of implementing the analysis of existing scientific approaches to the definition of types of non-traditional banking services and their systematization, it is determined that non-traditional banking services should include: leasing; factoring; trust services; warranties and sureties; remote service; consulting services; informational services. The essence of each of them, the role in the functioning of banking institutions is determined, and it is substantiated that the advantages of using it are reducing the time of customer service, the ability of clients to manage their operations, facilitating the work of commercial bank employees, expanding the range of clients, increasing profitability, providing advantages over competitors, and others.
